‘Traditional System of Medicine for Current Health Challenges’

We are glad to announce the 3rd Ayur Ex Kandy 2016-Ayurveda international educational exhibition and trade fair which will be held at the Kandy City Centre ( ), the world heritage city of Kandy, Sri Lanka, from 07th to 09th of October 2016. Ayur Ex Kandy is the biennial Ayurveda educational exhibition and trade fair organised jointly by the Department of Ayurveda, Central Province and the Central Provincial Council and Government of Sri Lanka.

2nd Ayur Ex Kandy 2014 was an event of high impact in the history of contemporary Ayurveda due to the overwhelming response and support it received from all stake holders of Ayurveda and the public. This 3rd edition of Ayur Ex Kandy, with its theme ‘Traditional System of Medicine for Current health Challenges’ will consist of 100 stalls identified by zones such as: international, educational, trade (medicine, equipment’s, food & beverages and services), Ministry of Indigenous medicine sector, astrology and natural healing (yoga, meditation, music therapy, hydro therapy and magnet therapy, etc.) giving deep insight knowledge in to the living traditions of art of healing. In addition to the exhibition Ayur Ex Kandy 2016 will consist International symposium regarding Traditional medicine with the collaboration of University of Peradeniya.

3rd Ayur Ex Kandy 2016 expects over 100,000 visitors including delegates from 20 countries. Three days international mega exhibition & trade fair will be a valuable opportunity for you to showcase and promote your indigenous healthcare products and services. Exhibitors will have maximum exposure and publicity for their products and services, and ample opportunities to interact with foreign and local clients. Visitors will have a good opportunity to know about traditional system of medicine, healthcare products, services, prepared medicines, equipment’s, current research findings and treatment methods practiced in Sri Lanka and other countries.

This mega event is not a money making event and our objectives are to share the traditional medical knowledge nationally and internationally, to make opportunities to collaborative research activities and to give awareness regarding Traditional system of medicine to the public, especially to younger generation to face current medical challenges. The event is entitled with the both B2B and B2C.

Ayur Ex Kandy 2016 provides a common platform to meet Ayurveda and traditional medical practitioners and associated parties, entrepreneurs with their beneficiaries, academics, students, healthcare professionals, researchers and civil society members.

The stall size is standard (3 m X 3 m) cubicles. 01 standard size table and 2 chairs, 01 plug base and 02 spot lights will be provided. (All the stall items are only in rent basis and should be handed over to the organizers). 02 identity cards for each stall will be given.
