Objectives of this program are to improve the awareness of the magnitude of NCD problem in this era and to prevent these diseases by introducing healthy life style and natural food according to the Ayurvedic knowledge.

hebal garden aloe veraObjectives of this project are to encourage school children to maintain a herbal garden in their school, to improve their knowledge of medicinal plants and to conserve medicinal plants in school herbal gardens.

By this project we emphasize the importance of keeping the school environment clean and green and there by reduce the dengue breeding places as well.

By this project we are planning to initiate 1000 school herbal gardens by the year 2012.

girls health promotiionThis program is specially designed to deliver the knowledge of female health maintenance, menstruation and related problems and reproductive health in a culture friendly manner.

This opens an opportunity for school girls to get advices and solutions for their health problems without visiting a hospital or any other institution as doctors themselves conduct these programs.

This project indirectly aims at reducing teenage marriages and pregnancies.

Nutrition Program for Mothers



Instructing mothers’ in selected villages in central provincial  divisional secretariat wards

  • Schedule programs of counseling & instructing for mothers
    • Give practical knowledge to prepare a alimentary food.

nutriition for mothersTarget group of this program is pregnant mothers and mothers of the children under five years. This includes awareness lectures and practical demonstration of preparation of nutritious indigenous food.

Community medical officers participated for all these programs making mother easily accessible to vast knowledge of Ayurveda regarding Nutrition. Here they get a good chance to clarify misbelieves regarding nutrition and also pregnancy.


Mobile Clinics PDF Print E-mail

mobile ayurveda clinicMobile clinics were started in two most remote and underdeveloped villages in each Division. Target of this project is to make the remote public accessible to Ayurvedic treatments.

Most of the patients attend these clinics are having chronic diseases and they continue to take medicines from the clinics held once a month even though we are unable to issue medicines enough for a months use.

We need to improve transport facilities and fund allocations to improve these mobile clinics as they have the highest demand from the geriatric community.
